Yarns

At The Fibre Garden our yarn focus is specifically hand-dyed, handspun or bare/natural yarns. We don’t carry the usual wide selection that a commercial yarn shop might have. Ours are made in small batches, by hand. John is The Dyeguy, and responsible for most of the yarn dyeing while Alan is a much more prolific spinner and, as The Battman, maker of blended batts.

Our bare yarns can, of course, be used directly for knitting for those that prefer “au natural”. These are the same ones we use for the various Dyeguy lines. If you are a dyer, there are some real beauties here to play with. Most of our yarns are proudly made in Canada!
