A tone-on-tone semi-solid, in medium and soft teal... that blue-green tone that is hard to describe. Some call it bottle green.

Socky-Talky Blackberry Wine
Deep and rich beet-red is overlaid with black. Almost the colour of the local Thimbleberries, a type of blackberry grown here in Niagara.

Customers seem to love this colourway no matter what base we dye it on. A medium cornflower-blue base is streaked and splashed with violet and grape-juice purple. Random-dyed, no predictable repeat.

Not as close to "Denim Jacket" as it looks, this is a medium-soft blue overlaid with black for a very moody, broody sort of effect. We did it to expand our range of "guy colours" and it's real handsome.

Socky-Talky Bumblebee
Haven't we all wanted to knit bumblebee socks?? Glowing yellow is combined with black - well, really a deep midnight green but it looks black from 5 feet away. Not self-striping like a wasp, this will more likely pool like the patterning on a fuzzy bumblebee.

Streaked throughout in a blend of lemon, orange and grapefruit. Looks smashing with a blue or purple companion yarn! Random-dyed, no predictable repeat.

Socky-Talky Confused Hydrangea
Somewhat striping with soft pink and blue, streaked here and there with mauve, rose, violet, pale pink and a touch of white. When Hydrangeas are grown in neutral or slightly acidic soil sometimes they can't decide if they are pink or blue so they're somewhere in the middle.

We like this colourway so much, we're now dyeing it on anything and everything! A rich sapphire-blue ground is overlaid in inky violet purple. Random-dyed, no repeat. We developed this colourway for Sherri Bondy's Jordan Scarf.

Socky-Talky Leapin’ Lime
Bright chartreuse is overlaid with screaming lime green. This makes our "Lime Fizz" look like a pastel. Absolutely amazing combined with "Blackberry Wine".

A lively colourway, one of our originals that we've brought back again after a wee break. Mustardy yellow to chartreuse is splashed with relish green and ketchup red, just like a messy hotdog. Random-dyed, no predictable repeat.

Alan plopped a flower on the kitchen counter and asked me if I could dye it, so I did... pretty much nailed it too! A base of lavender-rose is splotched with deep raspberry, exactly like the flower.

Socky-Talky Sweet Potato Curry
A sister colourway to Loaded Hotdog, but oddly enough using three completely different dyes. Yam-orange is streaked with spinach green and red-hot pepper. This is one of John's very favourites to dye. Random-dyed, no predictable repeat.

Socky-Talky Under the Sea
Like a tropical reef, sparkling with a myriad of colours. Soft aqua is streaked and splashed with turquoise, lavender, burgundy, green, rust and blue. Contrast colours are narrow bands that knit to a stitch or three wide.

Socky-Talky Vampire
A gorgeous effect, with a ground tone of rich scarlet-red, overlaid with smoky black. Any vampire would be thrilled to wear socks or a scarf made from this colourway. Random dyed, no repeat. This looks similar to "Roasted Red Peppers" at first glance but "Vampire" is a brighter scarlet and the black is washed over, rather than painted on like grill marks.
