Ashford Plastic/Student Needle Felting Punch
A more affordable choice for beginning felters doing flat landscape pieces. A simple plastic punch that will hold up to three needles of any gauge. Needles store safely inside the handle.

Ashford Wood Needle Felting Punch
A well-designed punch, made of sturdy silver beech hardwood. The hollow handle is turned to fit the hand well, and unscrews from the base to safely store five needles. The base will hold any multiple from 1 to 5 needles, as you wish. A much sturdier punch than the plastic ones on the market.

A 10-pack of coarse-gauge felting needles. Ideal for laying down the ground layers of fibre. Comes in a clear rigid-plastic screw top container. 32-gauge.

A 10-pack of fine-gauge felting needles. Ideal for making fine-detailed embellishment. Comes in a clear rigid-plastic screw top container. 40-gauge.

Felting Needles, Medium – 10 pack
A 10-pack of medium-gauge felting needles. This seems to be the size we sell the most of here in the shop. Used both for laying down foundation layers as well as some of the more detailed embellishment. Comes in a clear rigid-plastic screw top container. 36-gauge.

Felting Needles, Reverse – 10-pack
A 10-pack of 36-gauge reverse-barb felting needles. Especially useful for crafters that make little needle-felted critters and want them to have a fuzzy "finish". This needle has barbs facing the reverse direction, so you use it at the very end to tug fibre back out to create a soft fuzzy appearance in specific places (think of a short zebra's mane) or all over. Comes in a clear rigid-plastic screw top container.

Felting Needles, Spiral – 10 pack
A 10-pack of 36-gauge spiral felting needles. Ashford suggests that these are fast needles because of the twisted spiral shape, and that they leave smaller surface holes as well. Comes in a clear rigid-plastic screw top container.

Felting Needles, Star – 10 pack
A 10-pack of star felting needles, These 38-gauge needles have been a huge hit here at the shop. The gauge is in between the medium and fine needles, but lots of our felters now call it "the fast needle". In cross-section this has a + sign shape, with four edges that really seem to grab the fibres well. Used mostly for finer detail work. Comes in a clear rigid-plastic screw top container.
