Like with most wheel manufacturers, Louet’s Lazy Kates are designed to specifically fit their bobbins. They offer both an on-board version (included with many of the wheels) as well as a free-standing version, usually with a tension system. These are CUSTOM ORDER products and we are happy to bring them in for you.

This stand-alone Lazy Kate will hold 4 standard Louet bobbins and is tensioned to provide some braking, preventing bobbins from over-spinning while plying. Only 3 Bulky Bobbins will fit on this Lazy Kate and 4 Standard bobbins (both Irish and Scotch tension). Bobbins are NOT INCLUDED.

Louet Lazy Kate Metal Rack – Irish Tension
Metal rack for onboard Lazy Kate, holds two bobbins. Fits all Irish Tension (Bobbin lead) Louet wheels. Single treadle wheels have a built in holder for the rack. If you have a Double Treadle wheel, you need to order a wooden bar to hold this Lazy Kate.
