Beautiful and soft 19-micron Fine Merino combed top from Dyeing House Gallery of Italy. This supplier produces many interesting colours that are quite different from our Ashford collection. The fine micron count and lovely soft handle makes this Merino perfect for against-the-skin garments, whether spun and knitted or felted. Felters will find this fibre wet felts very quickly, so it can certainly be a time saver. We started carrying a few colours in 2012 and, encouraged by our local felters, we’ve decided to expand our offerings as well as to offer these online.

100% fine 19-micron Merino wool. Beautiful and clean combed top. Very soft ivory-beige with a hint of apricot, a bit more yellowy than the photo shows. This should be useful as a "flesh" tone for needle-felted dolls and other 3D figures, but of course also great for general felting and spinning.
