Many of us fear spinning cotton, but with the right setup it’s not all that difficult. Some use support spindles of various kinds, some use a Charka (we list a lovely one by Ashford) and some just use the high-speed setup on their regular wheel.
We’ve finally found a reliable source for regular white cotton, and it’s good value. Nothing fancy or organic, just good top that’s enjoyable to spin. The same supplier has also begun to dye cotton top, and we are thrilled to be among the few sources for such a thing. If it goes over well we anticipate offering a wider range of shades to choose from.
