Majacraft Bobbin, Plastic – Standard
Canadian shipping only. Majacraft's newly upgraded standard bobbin is made from molded plastic, :specially chosen to minimize the sound made by the tension string in the bobbin groove as well as to decrease the weight. The original tan-coloured plastic bobbins are no longer available. Launched in late 2020
In their words:
"Cutouts in the end plates decrease the weight plus allow you to observe your yarn on the bobbin when spinning. Because ABS is a slightly softer plastic, we did not want them to wear out quicker so have managed to integrate some high quality and very durable polymer bearings inside the bobbin. They are tricky to see but we promise you they are there! We have also added drive pin holes so the plastic bobbins will now work on the Aura."

The Suzie Professional model has a green MDF wheel and whorl. This wheel is heavier and slightly larger than the rimu veneer drive wheel of the Suzie Standard. It gives smoother spinning with greater inertia and is a favourite of many spinners. Some of the features of the Suzie Professional are:
- double heel-and-toe treadle
- quick change flyer
- frictionless sealed bearings, so no oiling required
- sliding flyer hook
- dependable scotch tension for smooth and easy spinning
- New Zealand Rimu hardwood construction
- folds down for transport
- Two whorls/pulleys provided, a standard Suzie whorl and a high-speed whorl.
- Two flyers, the standard Majacraft Delta flyer and the Fine Orifice Ceramic E-flyer

Consider a carry/transport bagfor easy protection and transportation of your Majacraft Rose or Suzie wheel (including Professional and Alpaca). Made fromvery tough PU coated polyester Oxford, in the Majacraft 'green' colour. It has rugged zippers down the front to ease loading the bag. There is a flap in the top of the bag to allow access to the handle on the wheel for transporting it about. Using the wheel handle instead of straps places the wheel in a much more comfortable position to carry.
The Millie, Pioneer and Little Gem wheels will NOT fit in this bag.
