Each Majacraft wheel has a specific drive band that fits. We generally stock some of each. These are made of strong green polycord that lasts for years without breaking. When your wheel is not in use, it’s a good idea to slip the band off the whorl to let it rest; this allows it to restore back to the original size so it doesn’t get stretched out. If you’re at the cottage (or in the middle of a project) and your band breaks, simply heat both ends over a candle flame for a few seconds, push them back together and they should heat fuse. It’s best to allow the heat fuse to cool down for a few hours before spinning again.
