This high speed bobbin is clear lacquered to match the finish of the S10, S10DT and S51, S51DT. This bobbin has been carefully crafted to make spinning at high speeds a breeze. The bobbin has a sheave with three settings on one end to obtain three different spinning speeds. The ratios are: 6.5:1, 9.5:1 and 15:1. The high speed bobbin is meant to be used with the Louet High-Speed Flyer, and will fit on all current and discontinued Louet Irish Tension wheels EXCEPT: S40, S45, Victoria, S87, S90. These Louet Hand Cards are made of tulip wood, a Dutch poplar variety. They are light weighted and have ergonomical handles which fit comfortably in your hands. They are well-balanced with curved paddles 7.52" X 4".
Csrding cloth is 110 teeth /sq. inch (PPSI). These carders are suitable for fine fibres such as fine Merino, Alpaca or cotton. What Louet calls "extra-fine" is comparable to the fine hand cards from Ashford and other brands.

These popular Louet Single Row Mini Combs are a unique device which can be used for de-hairing and fine fiber combing. After combing, the fiber can be pulled into a sliver or spun straight from the combs. Tines are not overly sharp, to help ensure better safety. Made from ash with a lacquer finish.

This high speed flyer with a sliding hook is specially designed for spinning very fine yarns. It is 4 inches wide and has a 3/8 inch orifice. For Louet bobbin-lead (Irish tension) wheels. Lacquered finish. High speed bobbin not included.
