The Art Yarn Flyer was launched in 2013. It has a huge 7/8-inch orifice. This will fit on Louet Irish Tension wheels including the S10, S15, S17, S51, S70, S71.S75,S76, & S77 wheels. The Bulky Bobbin is recommended to work with this flyer. The bobbin is not included, this is the flyer only.

These Louet Hand Cards are made of tulip wood, a Dutch poplar variety. They are light weighted and have ergonomical handles which fit comfortably in your hands. They are well-balanced with curved paddles 7.52" X 4".
Csrding cloth is 110 teeth /sq. inch (PPSI). These carders are suitable for fine fibres such as fine Merino, Alpaca or cotton. What Louet calls "extra-fine" is comparable to the fine hand cards from Ashford and other brands.

Handcards, Louet – Regular 46 PPSI
Price per set of two cards. All-purpose handcards that will handle the majority of fibres. For very fine fibres such as Alpaca or cotton, we recommend finer handcards.
Made of unfinished hardwood. Medium carding cloth with zinc-plated teeth set at 46 points per square inch (PPSI). Teeth are 10mm high (3/8"). The paddles have a nice curve to them, which makes for more comfortable and efficient carding. Already assembled. NOTE Louet calls these hand cards REGULAR. Compared to other brands such as Ashford, the carding cloth is closer to what others in the industry might call coarse.
Handcards are used for preparing fibre for spinning or felting. Many spinners use these to prepare washed fleece into puffy rolags. Excellent for blending together different kinds and/or colours of fibre as well. When carding fleece it's good to do this over top of a drop sheet since lots of loose vegetation may fall out during the process, depending on the fibre.

This Scotch Tension high speed set for the Victoria or Julia contains a flyer, 3 bobbins, a small whorl (you have to add this to the existing whorl) and a hook for threading the yarn through the orifice and the flyer hole. The orifice is 5 mm, but you can take out the inserts and have an 8 or 12 mm orifice. Ratios are 1:20 and 1:30.

These Louet Mini Hand Cards are made of tulip wood, a Dutch poplar variety. These light weighted handcards have ergonomical handles which fit comfortably in your hands. They are well-balanced and have curved paddles, 4" X 4" with extra fine cloth, 110 teeth /sq. inch.
These extra fine cards are very suitable for cotton, exotic fibers and fine wools and the smaller size is are ideal for smaller quantities or for people with wrist problems.
