The PioneerX was redesigned by Majacraft in spring 2019. This is a highly affordable spinning wheel – yet they have been careful not to compromise the functionality that Majacraft wheels are renowned for. As with all Majacraft wheels the various accessories will fit on the Pioneer. The wide range of ratios, a Fine Orifice flyer and easy to use Scotch Tension System will make spinning a dream! The head can be adjusted in a similar way to the Little Gem so you can customize the orifice position to fit your style and body.

The Pioneer is now constructed using American Ash hardwood, the drive wheel is MDF with American Ash wood veneer.

The effortless double treadle spinning allows you to spin for long periods of time with no discomfort. The pedal position has been ergonomically designed to fit you comfortably as the spinner. Most importantly it has a new dual function orifice. Fine yarns can be held still in the delta part of the orifice. This also has the function of holding coil yarns very still so you can observe your work. You can bypass the delta and use the large halo ring for spinning huge. With the new double drive, the Aura can spin anything that can be pulled through this orifice! The new folding handle design has the grip in a new location and special bumpers on the handle to keep the spinning head away from the pedals when you fold it down. As with all other Majacraft wheels, they have worked to make it as compatible as possible with all accessories. The Aura will fit all existing Majacraft flyers. It takes the NEW Jumbo bobbins with two special holes on one end, now standard starting spring 2011 for all Jumbos. The plying flyer has an easy to thread delta orifice that is very simple to use. The wood Jumbo)bobbins have a large capacity and will hold up to two standard bobbins of singles yarn. NOTE: LITTLE GEM WHEELS require the special Little Gem Mini Tension Knob with any of Majacraft's wide flyers, including the Aura, Plying or Wild flyers. Consider a carry/transport bagfor easy protection and transportation of your Majacraft Rose or Suzie wheel (including Professional and Alpaca). Made fromvery tough PU coated polyester Oxford, in the Majacraft 'green' colour. It has rugged zippers down the front to ease loading the bag. There is a flap in the top of the bag to allow access to the handle on the wheel for transporting it about. Using the wheel handle instead of straps places the wheel in a much more comfortable position to carry.

The Millie, Pioneer and Little Gem wheels will NOT fit in this bag.
