From Louet, this is made from unfinished wood with an interesting octagonal-shaped whorl. Easily stained, painted or varnished if desired. Shaft length including hook, 25cm (9.8 inches). Whorl diameter is 6.5cm (2.6 inches). Weighs approximately 41 – 46g (1.4 – 1.6 oz). Another beginner spindle of excellent value, with a midrange weight that makes it great for spinning medium to thin yarns. Some people describe this as being “purse sized”. No notch on the whorl but the interesting shape helps to keep your yarn from slipping.

These Louet Hand Cards are made of tulip wood, a Dutch poplar variety. They are light weighted and have ergonomical handles which fit comfortably in your hands. They are well-balanced with curved paddles 7.52" X 4". Csrding cloth is 110 teeth /sq. inch (PPSI). These carders are suitable for fine fibres such as fine Merino, Alpaca or cotton. These handy Louet Double Row Mini Combs are a unique device which can be used for de-hairing and fine fiber combing. After combing, the fiber can be pulled into a sliver or spun straight from the combs. Tines are not overly sharp, to help ensure safety.

These Double Row Mini Combs are similar to the Single Row Mini Combs but produce a perfect slubless sliver from extremely fine fiber. Both mini combs are light on the wrist. They are made of ash with a lacquer finish.
