Bamboogie™ is a brand-new base yarn that Dyeguy™ has just launched. If his usual bright colours are too much for you, this is quite a departure into the soft pastel tones. This fingering-weight blend is 80% Bamboo (now called Rayon from Bamboo) and 20% Superwash Merino. Not only is it super-soft and perfect for against-the-skin wear (especially summer wear) it’s also beautifully shiny! It knits up into a lovely smooth fabric. Because of the way our dyes strike this blend, all the different colours are heathered with white, which is the bamboo fibre.

Our first colourways are listed, with more coming as soon as the yarn arrives. We’re thinking next of soft ginger, grey and perhaps robin’s-egg blue, so stay tuned. These are dyed right here at The Fibre Garden studio in small batches using professional-grade acid dyes. Wholesale inquiries welcome.

Approximately 115g (4.06 oz), 431m (472 yd). 4-ply.

Gauge: 2-3.25mm needles. 6 – 8 stitches = 1 inch or as pattern recommends.

Laundering: Hand wash, lay flat to dry. NOTE: because of the combination of fibre content and dyes used, this yarn will have excess dye-run for the first few launderings. Wash separately!
