This is a dandy kit that lets you convert your single-treadle Elizabeth spinning wheel into a double treadle.
Two treadles leads to easier treadling, better posture and more even spinning. Includes a new crank, conrods and treadle board. Lacquered finish. Not difficult to install either.
NOTE: the wood and finish will not likely match exactly to your existing wheel.

This features a long, pointy and sharp steel quill and you spin off the tip then treadle backwards to wind the yarn on.
"Replace the flyer on your single or double-drive Traditional, Traveller, Elizabeth spinning wheel or E-Spinner and enjoy the ancient craft of quill spinning. When spinning from the point the spinner can spin any diameter yarn. The spindle is also useful for bobbin winding."
